Today I randomly subbed a Circuit Class. In these classes, participants move through stations or “circuits” in which they do an exercise/movement for a pre-determined amount of time, and then switch to the next “circuit”.
Here was the basic agenda for the day, complete with seven circuits.
I divided the gym up into 7 parts, and did each circuit there. We went through the 7 circuits three times, each time using the same equipment…but doing a new exercise/movement. Those are described on the top right of the list. The bottom list was a list of the materials needed at each station.

This station would be used in three ways. Chest Press with bar….Squat hop with bar….and Bicep Curl.
The idea of this type of class is to be able to do a multitude of exercises. In our case, we did 21 different 2 minute circuits. CRAZY, but so much fun!!! This class was a blast. Best part was I got to wear a stopwatch/whistle…which my class just LOVED, right guys?!?!
See all the circuits in action?!?! Two minutes of fun! They then switched til they had done them all….then we did the entire circuit two more times, using different moves each go round.

Woke up extra early this morning for 6:00am Spin. Great class, great turn out, great sweat session. Headed directly to Starbizzle after class where I sipped on a yummy Misto, and had my breakfast which I prepared the night before! Overnight oats!
- 1/2 Cup Oats
- 1 Cup (plus a splash) Chocolate Almond Milk
- 1.5 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
- 2 TBSP Chia Seeds
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Nuts
Cold Oats + Hot Coffee = Good times.
Well bloggies….I am two classes down…one to go, then work. Training some new and oh so much fun members tonight on the machines…then working the front desk. I swear, I don’t know what I would do with myself if my schedule was even somewhat “normal”. I think I thrive on the craziness.
